The Junior Giants Willie Mac Award -- named in honor of Giants Hall of Famer Willie McCovey -- is the "junior" version of the annual award given to a Giants player by his teammates. Our award is presented to the players and coaches who best exemplify the Junior Giants Four Bases of Character Development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork.
Select Junior Giants Willie Mac Award winners will have the chance to take the field before the San Francisco players on Junior Giants Day. All award winners: coaches, players and their families are invited to a special luncheon after the season ends.
